LAUREUS was was the winner of the 11th NRW main Approval in 2001. In 2002, he completed his stallion performance test in Warendorf, coming fifth in his age group. He has been trained up to advanced class.

LAUREUS off-spring have been awarded many Premiums and were sold at auction for top prices. One of his sons from his first crop are approved for breeding, four daughters have been awarded the State Premium. 
LAUREUS belongs to the top five percent of Germany's dressage horse sires, according to the FN breeding value.

LAUREUS’ sire Laurentianer won his stallion performance test in 2001, and was the 2001 World Champion among the Young Dressage Horses. He has since been successful through Grand Prix. The dam’s sire Loutano is son of the legend Landgraf I. Loutano was Reserve Champion of his approval, and in 1991 3rd at the Bundeschampionat. Ridden by Margit Otto-Crepein he later celebrated international  successes.
